Forklift driver
Forklift driver wanted. No talk, just work.
Got a forklift certificate and know how to get things moving? Good. We are looking for someone who keeps goods flowing in and out of the warehouse without fuss. If you like getting things done instead of talking about it, this job might be yours.
Roll up your sleeves. What will you do?
Your main job is simple: load and unload goods with the forklift. But a warehouse never stands still, so there is more to it than that. You operate the forklift safely and professionally. That should not be a problem, since you have the certificate to prove it.
Goods are sorted according to instructions, stacked properly, sealed, and labeled to prevent damage. You make sure the tablet is filled in correctly and that every shipment contains the right information for the customer. You also move pallets and goods to the right locations in the warehouse. And before anything leaves the building, you check the quantity and quality of the load.
Every now and then you also take care of small maintenance on the forklift. Think of it as a quick mini inspection to keep everything running smoothly.
Your responsibilities. Clear and simple.
As a forklift driver you are responsible for loading and unloading containers and trucks according to the loading lists. You also collect goods and prepare them on pallets for the final customer. Sometimes containers need to be unloaded by hand as well. When that happens, you step in and get it done.
